11 DAYS TOURS TO NORTHERN HISTORIC ROUTES
Day1:
We will, Arrive to Addis. After that, city tour of the capital including the old palace of emperor Menelik II.
Day2:
Morning flight to Bahir Dar to visit the monasteries on Lake Tana and the Blue Nile falls.
Day3:
Today we will drive North to Gondar to visit the 17th century capital with its castle and churches via Awramba community village.
Day4:
Beautiful drive to Simien Mountains where you will Get to see a breath taking landscape in addition to, endemic animals. After that, you will stop at Felashala village.
Day5:
Another scenic drive to Axum through the Northern Mountains ranges and crossing the Tekeze River.
Day6:
We’ll Take a full day in Axum to exploring the archaeological sites and the church of St. Mary Tsion.
Day7:
Scenic drives thorough the Adwa Mountains and the 5th century BC temple at Yeha. In Addition to, The first African mosque Alengashi and to the Gheralta Mountains.
Day8:
Today Will visit some of the Rock-Hewn churches of Tigray. After that we will drive to Mekele.
Day9:
Drive south to Lalibela via the Alage Mountains.
Day10:
Today we will spend a full day to visit the famous Rock-Hewn churches of Lalibela.
Day11:
Finally, Flight back to Addis and evening departure back home.
